Dunedin Fine Art Center has officially scheduled its $2.9 million expansion and renovation to start August 2013.
The expansion will add 7,306 square feet to the current center and renovations will be done on 3,686 square feet. Upon completion the center will total 31,000 square feet. The project design, by Collman and Karsky Architects of Tampa, will be constructed by J. Kokolakis Contracting of Tarpon Springs.
The Dunedin Fine Art Center is unique and offers adult and children’s classes “designed to create and grow a fine arts and cultural center, a public arts school and library, open at all times to the general public, not restricted to any group or groups,” according to the center’s mission statement.
